Johnny Truant (left, red shirt) and his friend Lude (right, no shirt or underwear) from House of Leaves. This particular picture probably takes place back in the good old days, before Zampanò kicked the bucket and Johnny’s head got all fucked up.
Lude/Johnny will rule you all.  I am a firm supporter of Lude/Johnny and their narcotic-induced romance. They DID do all those drugs with each other, after all.Notes: 1) That’s not a stud Johnny’s sporting on his tongue, it’s a pill. Ecstasy? Amphetamine? Viagra? Only Lude knows. He made me put it there, after all. 2) Lude is about 75% sober right there, and 100% ready for action. 3) Aaaand…HAPPY BIRTHDAY DF!  *does the “One-More-Year-Until-Legal-Access-to-Sex -Porn-and-Strip-Clubs!” dance for DF*  Johnny Truant © Mark Z. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I HATE MY USERNAME AND AM TOO LAZY TO GET A NEW ACCOUNT SO THOU SHALL CALL ME MUFFINBOB AND SO THAT SHALL BE.
MUFFINBOB OF THE GOATS IS OPTIONAL.
Even if Johnny was once like this,
turning such a beautiful book into something
that resembles anime couplings from fans
and Twilight fanart makes such a wonderful novel
seem as shallow as Stephanie Meyer's "saga".
Also:
Where's Johnny's discolored front tooth?
How about the one on his eyebrow, mentioned early in the book when he tells women at a bar that he was once a boxer in an attempt to pick them up?
Or, the more obvious scars running down both his arms. Though you drew a jacket on him, you could at the very least draw a little swirl going down his wrist.
Without all of the things that define Johnny, this is just like any other fanart.
